FreeTogether — Delete your account
FreeTogether (by Danny Dominguez) lets you delete your account and its data at any time, on iPhone or Android.
In the app
- Open FreeTogether and go to Profile (the Profile tab on iPhone; the person icon at the top of Your groups on Android).
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
If there are groups you own, first hand each one to another member (group Settings › Transfer ownership) or delete it; then delete your account. If you signed in with Apple, you're asked to confirm with Apple.
Without the app
Email dominguezdanieldev@gmail.com from the email address you use with FreeTogether (or tell us which sign-in you use) and ask us to delete your account. We'll confirm it's your account and delete it within 30 days, and tell you when it's done.
What is deleted and what is kept
- Your availability, your event answers, your notification tokens and settings, and your list of blocked members are deleted.
- Your name, email and profile photo are removed, your group memberships are removed, and your sign-in account is deleted.
- Events you created stay with their group, without your name.
- Reports are kept for safety purposes. Records used to limit how often reminders and event notifications are sent (a user ID and a time) may remain.
See the privacy policy for everything FreeTogether collects and how it's used.
